Poster

As part of my ancillary text, I had to create a poster. To create the poster I used the same software as I had previously used for my digipack, which is indesign as I had now gained experience about how to use the software and is practical for creating such a product, as its fitted into the school computers which we use. Creating the poster was a relatively quick process compared to that of the digipack, as I feel it was more straight forward of what was expected.

Here is a look at one of the final drafts of my poster:

However the mouse curser is obviously not included in the poster, and the 'future class' emblem has been removed. 

I choose to have the same picture on the front of both my digipack and poster to make a clear link between the two. Further more it captures a nice image of my main actor, who is representing the theme of mystery as her face is half hidden. 

I decided to place an image of a park at the bottom, which shows both an urban and rural environment which again relates to the setting of my music video, it also fills in the space. 

The date given would be the release date to make viewers aware of when the album is released. 

Writing on the top and bottom is in a unique but rather simple format which helps capture overall feeling of my digipack, with the slick look to attract viewers without going over the top. 

Overall I am pleased with my poster and ancillary texts.
